Hurricane in Jamaica ( A High Wind in Jamaica in the original title) is a 1929 novel by English writer Richard Hughes . It was adapted the cinema in 1965 with the same title in English translation coexisting Hurricane in Jamaica with the wind in the sails in English.
Synopsis:
In Jamaica in the mid-nineteenth century, arguably the five sons of the English family Bas-Thornton and the two of Fernández Creole family living in "paradise." But after an earthquake and a hurricane been reduced to rubble the possessions of their families are sent to England for their education.
