"In the framework of the signed grant agreements with the National Forest Conservation, Protected Areas and Wildlife, ICF, the proposed Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Watershed Mesoamerican Biological Corridor in the Honduran Atlantic (PROCORREDOR), trained the staff of the Project Managing Unit (PMU).
officers were trained during the day, on important issues such as, contract management, operational, administrative management, monitoring financial accounting and monitoring, among others that will strengthen the capacities of staff of the PMU.
The training was received by the engineer José Antonio Galdames, Deputy Director of Protected Areas, the Coordinator responsible for six grant contracts 1,2,3,4,16 and 41, the counter of each grant is responsible within the institution and administrators of each grant.
With this type of training is intended to implement institutions requirements of the contracts and apply the manual of procedures developed by PROCORREDOR.
The event took place at the Hotel Santa Lucia Resort, on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 April this year, lasting 8 hours every day.
