C on the order to implement the Monitoring and Research Program through the program for Conservation Volunteers "the Executive Director of the National Institute of Forest Conservation (ICF), José Trinidad Suazo and Honduran President Ornithological Society (HOS) Daniel Germer Luis Sanchez, signed scientific-technical cooperation agreement.
By signing the agreement will provide guidance in all the progressive development of an interdisciplinary scientific culture through management, promotion and conduct of trainings, forums, and other learning events in the context of in situ conservation of avian biodiversity in the country.
Similarly aims to generate field data applicable, reliable and quantifiable to the regular assessment of the ecological integrity of SINAPH, within the framework of action defined by programs Monitoring and Research and the qualified staff member of the Society, with support from ICF.
The ICF through the signing of the agreement undertakes to manage
actively and to the extent of its scope, the physical, logistical and financial resources necessary to achieve these objectives, also to promote collaboration of OHSS between their media set, when the subject warrants it .
Ornithological Society, in turn, provide the technical expertise to the development of the monitoring program through their participation in training, follow up on monitoring activities biological and other emerging and which concern the scope of the Company.
The signing of the agreement, which will last four years, held in the Meeting Room of the Executive Board of the ICF and was attended by the Minister Director of ICF, José Trinidad Suazo, President of the SHO, Luis Daniel Germer and Protected Areas Vice Minister, José Antonio Galdames, among others.
